The bodhrán is a frame drum of Irish origin. Used-up Mugic can be revived here.Ĭastle Bodhran shares a name with a musical instrument. There is a running joke among the OverWorlders that many of the castle’s visitors never leave - because they can never find their way out!Ĭastle Bodhran is a crazily-built fortress guarded by Frafdo. Many OverWorlders stop here when they are traveling in the south, to rest or just to see its remarkable interior. Yet there is always somebody “at home” in Castle Bodhran. It has been stated by Bryan C Gannon (The CEO of the companies that made the game and TV show) in an interview that he was going to bring back the old episodes. The Maxxor card this is based on starts the game with two mugic counters, and he can either spend them to cast mugic. The cost to play the cards is removing the counters, and the creatures can also have abilities using them. Though Frafdo guards this magical fortress, he is away from time to time, since Maxxor depends on him to carry out many important missions in Perim. In the game, you start the game with mugic cards in hand, and your creatures start the game with mugic counters on them.
Yet, no matter where you stand, you’re always right side up!įrom the outside the castle looks normal but in the inside it is totally bizarre. Floors are seen where ceilings ought to be. Castle Bodhran lies in the southeast of Perim.
